ROAD CLOSURE 12th Street, The Dalles
Crestline Construction has been contracted by The City of The Dalles to provide storm, sidewalk, and roadway reconstruction on E 12th Street between Thompson and Richmond. Construction will commence on Monday, March 10th, 2025, and run to late September 2025.
Road closures and detours will be in effect throughout the duration of the project with only local access being allowed on E 12th street between Thompson and Richmond, depending on major excavation activities local thru traffic will be limited. Crestline Construction recommends residents pay attention to site traffic control and onsite personnel directions.
Please avoid the area and use alternate routes to access either ends of the project by using 10th street, 14th St or Morton St to navigate around the work zones. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we construct these City of The Dalles Improvements. -
ROAD DETOURS AND CLOSURE 6th Street, The Dalles
Starting April 21st, the southbound lane of 6th Street between Pomona St W and the intersection ending before the Southern entrance to Coastal Farm and Ranch will close, with the detour using Pomona to W 7th St to Myrtle St then back onto W 6th Street. A Road Closed Local Access Sign will be posted at Pomona allowing for access to businesses South of Pomona to ASTRO to remain open and accessible but there will be no thru traffic between Pomona and Snipes ST. The Northbound Lane on W 6th Street will remain open with traffic speeds reduced to 25MPH. Estimated closure is 3 weeks.
Crestline Construction recommends motorists use alternate routes, obey site traffic control and be aware of the increased construction equipment and activity throughout the duration of the project.
