Erik was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and moved to Hood River in 2000. He worked at Kerr Contractors, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager for 18 years. His experience includes public utility and roadway infrastructure construction, pipelines of all types and site developments such as retail centers and industrial and manufacturing facilities for both public and private sector clients.
As a Manager for Crestline Construction Company his responsibilities include safety oversight, subcontracting, scheduling, resource management, cost tracking, value engineering, staff supervision, financial review/oversight, and construction project management.
Bill Lancaster – Operations Manager
Bill began his career in the construction industry in the Rocky Mountain region. Bill has traveled much of the country working with companies such as Argee Corporation, Granite Construction, and Washington Contractors Group on projects ranging up to $160 Million in size. Bill’s forte was managing large earthmoving operations for these companies. His experience ranges from large site development to extensive work in hazardous waste cleanup.
Bill joined forces with Ron Schmidt in 1994 to begin Crestline Construction, where he oversees all Field Operations. Bill’s direct presence in the field maintains a quality of work that we can all take pride in.
Kenny Kempf – Estimator / Dispatch
Kenny began his career working throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah in the paving industry, overseeing one of the largest portable hot plants in the region.
Kenny met Ron and Bill while foreman on a $160 Million uranium mill tailings project in Colorado. Kenny moved to Oregon to be closer to his wife’s family, and Crestline was fortunate to acquire his services in 1995.
Kenny was Crestline’s general superintendent for several years before moving his talents indoors to the estimating arena. Kenny currently splits his time between estimating and equipment dispatch, making sure the right tools arrive at our projects at the right time.
She was drawn further west by the beauty of Oregon and landed at Crestline Construction in 2005 as the Office Manager/Subcontract Administrator. Pam’s main duties include Oversight of Accounts Payable, Subcontract Administration and Proposal Preparation. She also maintains the office computers and IT system, updates the website and performs any other necessary tasks to keep the office operating smoothly.

Bill Ketchum – Project Manager / Estimator
Bill Ketchum graduated from Oregon State University in 1995 then moved to the Portland area to take a job in the construction industry. Bill’s experience ranges from material testing to class “A” office improvements. Bill joined Crestline Construction in 2003 as a Superintendent. Bill now splits his time between the estimating department and the management of projects.

Greg Jensen – Safety Director
Greg graduated from Boise State University with degrees in Education and Kinesiology. After teaching for several years he turned his attention to educating the construction field. Greg was appointed as the Safety Director for Crestline Construction in 2005.
Greg has furthered his knowledge in the construction industry by completing the Region X Construction Safety and Health program through the University of Washington. He is a Certified OROSHA Safety and Health Trainer.
Greg oversees safety inspections and training, workers compensation insurance, traffic control supervision, new-hire orientation, initial job resource set-up and regulatory agency compliance.
Hank Keith – Superintendent
Born and raised in the Columbia Gorge, Hank began his career as an equipment operator in the logging industry, then switched to an asphalt paving foreman for many years. He joined the Crestline team in 1997. Hank has completed projects ranging from industrial site developments; to a state highway reconstruct though North Powder and several private subdivisions.

Don Stenersen – Superintendent
Born and raised in Idaho,Don began his career in the Idaho timber industry working as faller/ heavy equipment operator constructing timber purchase roads. He spent 10 years in Alaska working in the timber industry and 5.5 years in Russia managing timber operations and building infrastructure.
Don worked as a Superintendent for 5 years for Envirocon from Washington Contractors Group on a $125 million remediation in Casper, Wyoming building white water features.
During the past 3 years as a Superintendent his largest project was the Rattlesnake Windfarm in Gilliam County, but Don has worked on a very diversified portfolio of projects including two tight schedule, in water jobs located in Hood River, Oregon and Carson, Washington.

Bob Whitefield – Maintenance Superintendent
Bob Whitefield was born and raised in the Columbia Gorge (Glenwood) and now lives in Trout Lake. Bob began working in the mechanical field in 1975 and has been performing heavy equipment repair and maintenance for 32 years.
Bob came to work for Crestline in 2005 and became our Maintenance Superintendent in 2007. Bob currently oversees repairs and maintenance of over 150 pieces of rolling stock and a team of 5+ full time mechanics.
